Staying another night in Wondai

Forgot the damn fire pit !!!

But saved by Sue & Mark who have picked it up after I sent through a masterful plan showing its precise location, aided by my photographic memory.

Instead of a long Monday walk we chose to use the bikes as we are camped right beside the bikeway.

We cycled to Tingoora, uphill directly into a howling westerly headwind, only to find there is no coffee shop in Tingoora. So onward to Wooroolin where the coffee shop was shut due to the public holiday, which we knew nothing about. We have never had a public holiday in August before, what the hell is this one about.

So we turned around and got blown the 14k back home without hardly touching the pedals, it was worth cycling into the headwind, for that fast trip back.

We met a camel while cycling this morning.

                                              The old Wooroolin station.
